A note about insect repellent: In order to repel effectively, insect repellents have a high concentration of essential oils which can be irritating to sensitive skin. Because of this, it is advised to use caution or consult a practitioner if using insect repellent on a child under 2 years of age.

         Ingredients:

Citronella Oil Oil of citronella has been used for over 50 years as an insect repellent without reports of adverse side effects. It protects from insects without harming or killing them.

Lemongrass Oil- Lemongrass is an herb widely cultivated in the tropics and subtropics, long appreciated for its ability to repel insects. It has an amazingly fresh, earthy and lemony scent.

Peppermint Oil- Researchers discovered that peppermint oil is effective at repelling adult mosquitoes and killing the larvae.

Vanillin- A true form of vanilla, vanillin is considered a substance that keeps bugs at bay, and adds a yummy sweet scent to BugBlocker

Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Sorbate- Natural preservatives that prevent bacterial growth. Both are commonly used to preserve food and beverages. Sodium benzoate occurs naturally in cranberries, prunes, plums, cinnamon, ripe cloves, and apples.
